The Oral Tradition

The course will be taught in the Oral Tradition, a method which conveys a deep and subtle understanding of personality dynamics that is inaccessible through reading or discussion. 


In this tradition, the instructors and participants engage in a focused inquiry with panels of people who represent each personality type.

Learning Goals               

             (Part 1)

  • Discover your Enneagram “point of view.”
  • Gain an understanding of how people from the other 8 points of view function.
  • Learn how you can shift your point of view and alter your behavior to improve relationships with colleagues, bosses, friends, and mates.


              (Part 2)

  • Find out what works best in therapy with each of the personality types.
  • Learn what not to do in therapy with each of the personality types.
  • Discover how your Enneagram type or “point of view” affects your clinical work.
  • Recognize the correlation between the Enneagram and the DSM-IV.

Effective Enneagram Typing

Learn to Type Others 

You know that the Enneagram is a powerful tool for insight and transformation, and now you are eager to share it with others.  


Enneagram styles are multifaceted and it can be challenging to tease apart patterns.  Learn a process to help you discern type motivations.


Our experience doing hundreds of typing interviews will guide you in finding your own effective strategy to apply in your work and in your life. 


Come learn to lead clients to accurately identify their core point of view.


Learning Goals

  • Learn central themes of each of the 9 types to help you learn to lead others to discern their deep motivations 
  • Gain confidence leading clients to accurately identify their core point of view
  • Develop your own list of questions to use during the typing process
  • Practice “type discernment interviews” 
  • Find your own approach to using the Enneagram in your work and life

Clinical Consultation Group

For clinicians, coaches, and similar professionals wanting to use the Enneagram in their work, this is a rich learning community focused around a new Enneagram-related theme each 10 month cycle.


Increase your understanding and use of the Enneagram through:

  • Case consultation
  • Didactic presentations
  • Interaction with other clinicians and exemplars
  • Enhance awareness of your own point of view and how your point of view affects your work and relationships.


2.5 CEUs/group 


Meets One time per month on: 

  • Monday from 2 PM to 4:30 PM or 
  • Thursday from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM or 
  • Friday from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM

Fees: 

  • $60/group
  • 10-month commitment
